That article is mainly opinion and speculation by a reporter. JetBlue may set aside some seats but is NOT adding premium seating. In fact, JetBlue removed a row to REDUCE COSTS with 1 fewer flight attendant. Midwest is not an LCC at all. They are primarily (with the exception of Saver Service to leisure destinations) a premium service carrier. Frontier has not indicated that they are adding premium seating, nor has Southwest.

In fact, AirTran is one of the very few LCC's that has premium seating. It apparently works for them.
