I have decided against it, becuase for this short hop it is not really worth to pay for the extra miles. And in general TG in Y is not that bad. Lounge access it not that important, as I am Star Gold and I am on a connecting flight in BKK. In HKT i have to wait for the luggage anyway, so a fast deboarding it also not such a huge benefit to me.
