Yes I also found out this last month when traveling on QF that my reservation did not reflect my new status of GLD to PLT. AA will eventually update any existing reservations but it appears not any One World (although TA told me on the phone prior to traveling that all reservations on aa.com had been updated). Would call AA again as QF told me there was no way that they could update the reservation.
