Last time I flew on vacation with BA, I had 1 bag (my wife with another) each about 22kg. Both were stacked on the carousel three in from the front. I dragged them out, so damaging my back.
In future I had planned to take smaller bags but more of them. Probably 4 in all, 2 for my wife and 2 for me (actually 2.99 for my wife and 1.01 for me).
Now BA's antics rule them out of my plans as I'm not paying C fares for a vacation, nor will I pay for extra bags.
