If you do fly domestically often, you'll likely end up on your share of RJs. Delta also a lot of them and many are flown by ASA, one of the worst regionals in the business. OTOH, Republic, Freedom, Chatauqua, et al. are pretty good Delta Connection carriers. I personally plan my flights with ASA avoidance in mind whenever possible, and wish you luck in doing the same.
