I agree with what's been said above, in particular the point that there are occassions that some threads turn in to what reads like a private conversation between 3-4 individuals rather than an exchange of information and views for the benefit of the board.
I may be in a minority, and I appreciate that many have strong views about the current direction of BA, but I do think some of the very personal abuse towards "Wee Willy Wonka" along the lines of "Well, he is from Ireland isn't he?" is a step too far. Would you say that to WW if you met him on board or at BA event?
Aside from that WW has largely been dealing with what was left in his in-tray by his predecessors, whilst we do not contribute to this board for the sole benefit of BA management, we are aware that this board is viewed by BA. Some of the personal abuse does little for the credibility of this board, and I'm sure BA would take more notice of well-constructed and considered critiques, rather than intemperate personal abuse towards one individual.
