The service was better in only one respect, that being that the FA addressed me by name. That is rare for me at least in domestic FC. You are correct in pointing out the additional space I enjoyed during that flight was not service related, but it sure felt good anyway.
And I agree that Delta management should be very pleased with that particular FA. She went out of her way to please a customer who flies somewhere 40 weeks a year. In addition, I didn't accept her kind offer for a drink. So it cost Delta nothing. I think she could teach management a thing or two on how to treat a passenger.
