I will be there next week for a final Diamond stay (hello Gold status come March 1). I'm booked at the cheapest corp rate I could find of HKD 1800, and am hoping for an upgrade to the RC. As I'll only be there one night I am not too concerned about room size, but a harbor view would be nice

A rate of HKD 1,700 is available through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts for most days of next week. This includes room upgrade if available, continental breakfast for two in restaurant, a bottle of house wine, a cheese and coldcut platter, fruit and chocolate, and 4pm late checkout.
[Try to book a room during the fireworks night of Chinese New Year. You will get a spectacular view. I did this this one time from one of the suites of Plateau, and it was amazing.]
