Well, I have had spotty success at the KLM designated lounge in IST. At different times either, only both together, or neither of NW Plat & WC membership cards work.
Had a similar problem in DUS in Jan 2001, but have 5000 WP miles and a letter of apology to show for it. In general, IMHO, WP members get treated as second class by KLM. But maybe FD members may be saying the same about NW.

I've had one for 5 years now, and have never been turned away from a WC, PC or HP lounge, regardless of who I was flying. No worries about what class of service, who's metal, etc.
