I was flying last saturday from BUR .It was a completely full flight and I boarded with my "A" and sat in 9D. I noticed a gentleman sitting in 8C
about late fifties wearing a Mercedes cap when the FA came over and offered him a pre flight beverage with cup and Ice (non alcoholic) as we were pre pushback. I watched amused as he enjoyed his drink while others boarded. The bev items were never collected until in air. When bev service
finally came down the isle we both made bev orders. FA requested $4 from me
and no money was taken from him. He drank his Heinikin and me my scotch.
