I care very much which configuration I get.

I do not care for the Coffins. While it is flat, I find the seat lumpy and the legrest, when fully extended, is a little bit below the seat bottom, and hence less comfortable. The biggest problem I have with them is having to have (or having the risk of having a seat mate). It simply ruins the experence for me as I cannot spread out as much and cannot get as much work done.

As for service, I've done eight transpac RTs on AA in F in the past year (with DFW, LAX and ORD-based crews) and have yet to have a negative experience. Now that proper hot towels and silverware are back, it no longer has the in-your-face cheapness factor to it.
