No, I didn't say YMMV. Most people clearly prefer the suites. I did say that some people prefer coffins when traveling with a companion.

AA's suite seat is just as good as the F seat on CX. The service doesn't measure up, but if you're flying US-LHR, going via HKG just so you can fly CX usually doesn't make sense. I'm not quite sure where transcons come into the suites vs. coffins debate.
