The Grand Hyatt is nice, although not over the top IMHO. I have been staying here four or five times and currently staying at one of the Junior Suites.
The normal rooms are awfully small and claustrophobic for somebody who stays 300+ nights per year at hotels. I was assigned one of these first (using FFN) and after having a look went to the club and politely refused to settle less than a suite. At the end I agreed to pay some very modest amount of extra points for the suite upgrade.
The club is nice, although I haven't been there on this three day stay. The evening cocktail hours are simply way too early for me considering that the nightlife in Hong Kong doesn't really start before eleven at the earliest.
As one of the previous posters posted the location of the Conrad is better, although I have not stayed there but have visited the mall couple of times. The taxes are plentiful and cheap but even then the MTR would be more convenient option every now and then and it is quite a hike from the hotel.
The gym is nice, although they do not have TV monitor in all of these machines. As posted earlier the pool is shared with Renaissance hotel that is one notch below of GH. I have stayed there once and was disappointed. The renaissance rates are lot lover so IMHO you get what you pay for.
Next stop is the GH in Tokyo and then to PH in Tokyo.
