The only time I ever purchased an A fare was last year SFO-SXM. That A fare was only about 30% higher than the cheapest available Coach fare. So, for that premium, we got 50% EQM bonus, 50% RDM bonus, and 3-class F across the country (LAX-IAD on a 777 and IAD-LAX on a 747), followed by 2-class F from IAD-SXM. I admit it's a rare case, but if it weren't for FT, I never would have even thought of searching for First Class fares in the first place.
