Besides: For the amount of money it costs to play dress up, pay for the VIP tickets, fly there and shack up, you could have taken a real vacation to someplace beautiful like Fiji or St Lucia.

Yes dear, some of us still do go to 'these things'.
We all cant like the same things and besides, if we did, what a boring place the world, or should I say the gay scene would be.
Besides: its not how much money one spends to dress up or get there etc ... It shouldnt be all about money all the time. Its the fun one has, thats why some of us still go. Speaking for myself, I go to these places for the fun and if I can afford it, why not.
