Thanks for the tip.

I was told that even with PNR showing "original routing credit," AA will not credit mileage for weather-related problem. PERIOD, said CSR.

"You are adviced from now on, no mileage credit will be given for flights cancelled due to weather."

At the end, an exception was made. Thank you, AA.
