You're right, he wasn't nice - not a good way to tread a Gold Cardholder traveling on a F ticket.

I had exactly the same experience ages ago. Almost as far back as August 2005 actually....and then I had nothing to check-in as I was off the Paris so would only have needed a boarding card.
