Since it's been more than 72 hours, I tried to request mileage credit on web site: got a "No credit for you, this flight was cancelled".

Called MP+ they say one of their systems is showing cancelled, the other though (not the one that .bomb interfaces to) shows the flight though not all the irregular ops.

He was able to make the mileage for the flight (ORD-SAN) post while we were on the phone, and he suggested I call Customer Relations to get additional mileage before of all the reroutings.
