Has anyone visited the Sheraton Manhattan since its recent renovation? I checked in there for 2 nights a few days ago and was happily suprised, out is the old room types and wallpaper/ carpets etc - which really needed to go and in has been dropped brand new carpets, wallpaper, lighting etc

Its a really pleasant change and its great to see that Starwood are making an effort to upgrade some of their older properties and ensure that we have a place to stay which warrants the high room rates which New York demands.

I know they refreshed the Sheraton New York a few years back, but the smaller and more intimate manhattan was until now somewhat lagging - great work Sheraton in bringing this hotel upto and beyond par!!

I would gladly recommend this property to all!

There is a great feeling here in addition among staff as they appreciate too the changes here and this really rubbed of on me - with impeccable service from the front desk to the housekeeping staff and others.

I look forward to my next stay and just had to rave about it!
