I think the soda machine mentioned is only in the G concourse AC (which is supposedly called a Service Center).

Also the BOS AC has the best deal in the airport for breakfast ($3 as I recall bagel/croissant and egg with bacon/sausage then ask for a large glass of OJ and tip the guy $1).

Agree the MIA soups are good .. tho each AC has a different choice. As I remember the soup in D was nice but the burger they offer is from a vendor that supplies truck stops so a bit icky!

At one time (pre 9/11) the budgets at the ACs for complimentary food was larger and each club tried to outdo each other .. Portuguese Rolls in EWR and Cuban pastries in MIA.

The worst club in memory for breakfast snacks is SFO with the mini-muffins from Sams Club (or where ever) that are dry!

To answer the OPs question . timing has a lot to do with the food options. Why would you expect more than trail mix and some apples at 8:45p? Secondly .. they tend to have a set amount of food allocated for each day/time and when that runs out they do not replenish it.

I totally agree with HNL . the AC is not about the free snacks or the food/drink you can buy. Its about AAngels and quiet!!
