Doubledecker rows

How are the rows on A380-s supposed to be numbered? The Airbus demonstrator plane 007 is known to have row 84. What are the plans of the airline customers?

Especially because the numbers on 747 upper deck are pretty inconsistent.

Looking at seatguru.com

AF has 2 747-400 configurations shown.

Those have maindeck last row 57 or so, upperdeck 60 to 69.

One Air NZ 747 has rows 1-3 in nose, then 7 to 14 on upper deck, then starting with 15 on main deck, to 60. Another has rows 1-7 and 10-15 starting from nose, then 16-20 and 23-27 on upper deck, then starting at 31 on main deck, last row 68.

ANA both configurations have maindeck last row 64, upperdeck 71-73 and 81-83.

BA maindeck last row 53, upper deck 60-64.

Cathay Pacific has a row 88. Maindeck last row 69, upper deck 80-83 and 86-88. 88 is last row, near galley and toilets...

KLM combi last row 45, upper deck has 72-74 and 77-80. Passenger 747 last row 69, upper deck same.

LH last row 56, upper deck 81-84.

Northwest -200 maindeck last row 66, upper deck 85-87. On -400 last row 67, upper deck has 72-74 and 77-80.

Qantas one -300 has 1-5 in nose, 11-13 and 15-19 upper deck, then starting at 23 on main deck, last row 77. Another -300 has main deck starting at 20 and last row 75. Their -400 has 1-4 in nose, 11-13 and 16-18 upper deck, main deck starts 23 last row 75.

Singapore has 1-4 in nose, 11-12, 14 and 17-20 on upper deck, starts 22 on main deck, last row 66.

South African two versions have 76 as maindeck last row, then 79-88 on upper deck - another Row 88! Another version has 77 as maindeck last, upper deck the same.

United has 1-8 in front of main deck, 11-18 on upper deck, then continuing with 22 on main deck, last row 66.

One Virgin layout has Rows 1-5 on upper deck, then 6-12 from nose, then 15-20, then on main deck starting at 30, last row 65, then 70 to 74 on upper deck (74 is last row), then 75 in the middle of main deck behind 20, up to 77 which is in front of 30! Another has no rows 1-5 anywhere, then 6-12 in nose, continues from 21, then 65 as maindeck last, then 70-80 on upper deck, 80 being last, then Row 81 behind row 12 and finally row 82 just in front of 21.

Confusing, isnīt it?

So, how are the row numbers on the other 747 operators?
