If I'm not mistaken, Le Meridien might have a better location, but I just stayed at the Sheraton and was quite pleased. I booked at suite, which was on the 46th floor and had a stunning view of Petronas Towers out one side. I kept my curtains open at night so I could go to sleep looking at them as they are lighted so beautifully. The suite was very nicely appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And, if you have lounge access, they do a nice job there with various things available through the day. On the street adjacent to the hotel (out the side exit) there is a nice trendy restaurant row (forget what the actual name for that section is). Depending on where you want to go, you might be cabbing it a fair amount, but cabs are very cheap there.

Wherever you stay, do consider taking an evening excursion to Kuala Selangor to see the fireflies ... thousands of them blinking in unison. Don't go if it's rainy though as they won't be out.
