So far it's been nice; I'll make my decision to renew at year's end; I'm still undecided.
Anyways, my first AC visit was in ORD in the HK AC. They had this awesome dish of celery, carrots, and ranch sauce; as well as a very fresh fruit salad. At that point I had decided I would renew next year. However, I've been to about 6 different ACs since then (some multiple times), and the snack service has been much worse everytime.
I've seen some weak pastries for breakfast and tons of trail-mix style snacks. Did I catch ORD on a special day? Is that just an ORD thing?
ACs visited:
AUS
DFW (A, C, and D terminals)
ORD (HK)
LAX
I'm on a bit of a health food binge lately and I can make a full meal out of veggies and fruit, but I can't off of snack mix. What's the normal to be expected? Thanks for the info!
For an EXP you continually come up with a lot of rookie questions....
Each club sets own snack budget and menu. It's nothing to get excited about no matter where you visit domestically. The Latin American clubs are known for much better food offerings.
The AC membership is not for the snacks.
