Well almost Eagle, the first LAX flight in the mornings is still mainline.

As far as the line goes AA elites have always been able to use the first class line for all except a 6 month period when the TSA complained af few years ago, its just that the counter personnel have not being telling all pax that it can be used.

Note:the First class line does not open until 600am so if try go though there before that you will be shunted over into the regular line at least the pass checker will not send you back to the end.
