$68 roundtrip sounds like it might be a little cheaper. American would be $27+8+2+2=$39*2=$78 (their website says $2 per extra person over 12, I'll guess and put one kid over 12 and one under, so add another $2 each way if both kids are over 12). 303 doesn't have the van/xtra charges on their website.

Airport Express will be a 15 passenger van. If you're coming in at a busy time (eg Friday evening), you're more likely to have it be shared with other stops. I don't know if you'd be more likely to get people getting off before you (eg Lincolnwood or Skokie) or after you (eg Wilmette or Winnetka). If it's an off time, you might get one to yourself, which would certainly be nice and roomy. The cab companies will be a minivan, which will fit you all, might be a little tight, but will be a straight shot to your destination.
