Apart from the fact that KIX is a porkbarrel boondoggle, it certainly
isn't asthetically un-pleasant. It's just that when it was built , Osaka was trying to move on from it's Takoyaki/Dotombori past........thus the blandness. I personally think a bit of leopard skin here and there would liven things up
