Yes, but there is that "sizer" issue where that may pop-up.
These stupid rules which are nothing but a dog and pony show resulting from airports/airlines being incompetent cheapskates unable to deal with how "taking everything OUT of our bags - laptop, Kippie bag, shoes, boarding pass, etc." delays things.
I'm amazed that the UK authorities, paranoid nuts consumed by impoverished thinking, and their EU surrender monkey counterparts haven't wholly adopted some of the nonsense that used to exist on some of my 1990s flights -- that is, a near-total ban on alll carry-ons (i.e., except travel documents and small purse/wallet). [Bad idea for long-haul flights for so many reasons.

These stupid rules, in tune with BA's new luggage rules, would work wonders to enrich BA until there was a massive consumer revolt against all things LHR, including BA and BAA.
