Based on the terrain that I was seeing, we came in from the south, from Big Sur. We didn't come over Pacific Grove, as we were staying at Asilomar and watching for it.....

I certainly was surprized with the alert.... not enough to make me wet myself, but enough to raise my eyebrows. I used to work failure analysis and crash investigations for a large airframe manufacturer in STL...

I like that "one minute to live rule".... I will incorporate it into my GA flying time. Good information and something to make me a better GA pilot - that's why I like FT!

Oh well.... nothing like having a thrill to start off a business trip.
