The cheapest RT DUP over the next few weeks is +/- $7700 all in. At that price you can fly back & forth at least twice, if not 3 times if you buy in advance on the all J/F only carriers.
OK, this offer is not competing with the "buy in advance" folks. Within 7 days, the EOS fare is the same $7,700. The lowest flexible EOS fare is also $7,700. That is what this AA offer is competing with. Remember, EOS offers true "suite" seats -- pretty much a First Class offering. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that MaxJet and SilverJet are not in the same league. Hence you can do 3 r/ts for the same price.

I'd also add that it seems AA recently lowered its full-fare J prices -- they're actually only running slightly ahead of this DUP, which I'm pretty sure is well below where they were not too long ago. And BA/VS want $10K for a no-advance-purchase unrestricted ticket.
