You will check in at the transit counter and then re-clear security. As a previous poster mentioned, do not go through immigration.

Make sure you have your Dragon Air flight information with you when you check in at UA so they can check your bags all the way through. Then, at the transit counter, you will give the agent the bag claim data so they can make sure they get the bag transferred and recorded in their system.
