Well letz face it. They are trying to make as much money as possible.
So the price of the ticket at the end is the total amount you pay.

Why do they want something called fuel charges?!

Well they dont have to give a comission to travel agents on the fueltaxes only on the fare. So if a 800 $ Ticket to New York 300 are taxes they have to give much less.

They still get money on award tickets so they dont have to give the seats totally for free.


This is why I think they do that whole fuel tax scam
