If you ask AA to assign seats for you : they will tell you that row 86 is undesirable !!! And to us here at FT, they are the best seats. But be aware of the floor if you sit on the aisle seats ( 86C and 86H ) : you can feel the floor shaking when the heavy footed FAs walk or rush by.
Flying solo, I would recommand 86A or 86K. CX might not pre-assign them to you, if you are only AA Plat, Ow Sapphire ( not sure about this though ).
