The Sri Lankan crab is the fairly large one with large claws. They can be up to 1 per kilo. There are smaller crabs available, particularly in Malaysian Borneo, both flower (2-4 per kilo) and mud crabs (3-4 per kilo) that are smaller, with small legs and claws. Flower is normally meatier and IMO tastier than Mud.
The brown mud crabs are somewhat off-putting because of the name and color.
