One thing that drives me nuts about CO's "meals at mealtime", other than it sounds like something from a senior citizens center, is that a global company, with people connecting all over the world, cannot consider just the departure time.
People connect from all over the world, and all different time zones, and "mealtime" only applies to those who woke up, and are in the timezone of the departure city. For those who board as a connection, the "mealtime" doesn't apply if they are connecting on a close connection from a different zone.
First - I think just simply using the words "mealtime" are just plain silly, and what CO decides is "mealtime", isn't the same for all. Just a way to cut food on some flights all together.
