I fly United way too often since I often go to Melbourne, Australia where my soon to be wife lives. Luckily flights on qantas have become price-competitive with United SO i can fly CO to LA and then the kangaroo to Melbourne.

The Snack in First Class IS really a meal as we have come to know it..It will be a cheeseburger or pizza or something along those lines usually with a salad..Its just the wording of snack/meal that your not used to..you will be fed on that flight..The only flights that will list your food as a "meal" is International..dont get so excited!
