Sofitel would seem to be an excellent choice, just based on location. It is across from the Beverly Center, Hard Rock Cafe...close to shopping at The Grove, Melrose Ave, Robertson Blvd. Lots of excellent restaurants in the area on Beverly Boulevard and Third Street. Also, very close to Beverly Hills and an easy drive to downtown L.A. to see Disney Hall, etc.
