On the LAX-HKG-LAX segments I would recommend Row 86 on the UP - it is the exit row with lots of extra legroom.
Also, right now at TBIT all the airlines are using a temporary lounge they share - you have to take a shuttle bus to it once you clear security. OW, *A and ST are building out their own mega-lounges at TBIT however, not sure when they will open.
In HKG, time permitting, try to go the CX's "The Wing" Lounge - it features the world's longest airline bar and has been written up numerous times for its unique design.
