Thanks for the info! I guess it is difficult to deduce which denomination corresponds to which aircraft from the info provided on the website. It seems that CX is far clearer in this respect.

You are right in saying that the 33L are used on NRT routes as I have been making half a dozen bookings for mother. Interestingly, I just got off the phone with her. In her words, KA J is not as good as CX's as the seats are a tad worn out. Although she was pleasantly surprised with the level of service provided by the crew unlike the unpleasant shock she got on her QF flight last month. Indeed, she is no aviation expert so I will definitely need to experience it myself before commenting.
