Cold plate?

Thanks SAT Lawyer.

Does this mean that on my EWR - TUC flight (F) departing at 7:40 pm, I could get just a cold plate and a glass of chardonnay, so I should tank up on the crab cakes at Gallagher's before boarding?

And what is the guiding principle here: "Meals at mealtime" (and is 7:40 pm considered mealtime), or strictly length of flight?
