I wouldn't necessarily want to opt out of future notifications, as if there is a material change, I'd like to know about it, just in case it doesn't align with other plans, which is frequently the case with a significant schedule change.

I would just prefer that they only report each change and have it confirmed by me one time --not 20. I trust that's relatively easily done, too.
