I absolutely agree. It's difficult for me to understand the pride that so many have here in the 'pure' mileage run - i.e., never leaving the airport - versus spending a day exploring/enjoying somewhere different. I understand the purity of it, but this is about acquiring perks on an AIRLINE...you know, travel...
