Re: getting near to aircraft. Ever consider popping a few quid for an introductory flying lesson ??
I take this concept and continue with it...
If I can get something out of the run (say, seeing an Eric Clapton concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London), I factor that in too... What is an afternoon at the FLL beach (Or Gold Coast?) worth to you, for example?
