Some on this Board actually prefer 23D to the UD seats. Even better when the middle seat is empty. Personally, I'd go for the right aisle as it de-planes faster. UD people are at the end of the line to get out - especially row 11.

As for the magical seat shifter, no idea. Maybe the QF is just getting back at BA for their problems with trying to save the good seats for their elites .
