Seat Shifters

I know there is a thread on this already on the BA forum but it appears Qantas is up to it as well.

I am booked on a BA code share from SIN to MEL and originally bagged 11A, but I then went back into the BA web page and my seat had been re-allocated to 23D. So I changed to 13K, it happened again, then 18A, it happened again. So no more UD windows left

, I rang QF and they did not know what the issue was. So the kind chap put me into 18C, you guessed it within 5 mins I was back in 23D with no more UD seats left at all !!!!!

So what the hell is happening ? I am BA Gold and that helped me last year to travel in 11A from MEL to LHR.

And is 23D that bad a seat ? Seat Guru is mixed due to light and noise from the galley.
