Sorry, not meant as an attack towards you or anyone else either.

photoshop has great optimization built in. Just use "save for web".

If you don't have PS try locating a shareware called weboptimizer. I think you get a 30 day trial and then you pay something like $20 or $30 for it. It's pretty dang good. I used it alot when I was a PC user.
