I forgot to mention that I've flown a Business Class transcon before where I had no problem getting into Admiral's Club lounges in all stops. I even got into the executive lounges for some of the partners I flew with on the same itinerary.
It was explained to me that BC passengers have access to the AC, as long as the entire itinerary is a transcon and the entire thing flown in BC.
