I have a Power Support Crystal case for my iPod Nano 2nd Gen and think it is a scratch saver. There are quite a few scratches on the case. I tend to throw my iPod in with other things so its great. Of course it adds bulk and isn't as pretty as a bare Nano. The hole for the jack doesn't fit really bulky headphone jacks so you may need to crack it a little wider down there to fit them in.
