Flew with the family DFW-BNA just before Christmas. The flight was pretty full too. When we got there though, no bags. Because of weight issues, AA decided to take off a number of bags (not just ours) and fly them in on the next flight. There were a lot of not very happy people.

Personally, I thought it worked out pretty good for us as we had more than 4 bags of presents packed, plus our normal packed bags. It was nice of AA to get all 8 bags and drive them to my parent's house instead of me having to do that. ^
