Whether a Dash100 or Dash 300,we do not have a choice of aircraft ex YSB.
As noted ,prefer Dash over the CRJ.
Dash service is generally on patented "tarmac to tarmac" service. When it rains you are aware ,when it snows you know it.When it is -30C and your seat is 1D,you really know it
Canadian weather conditions in winter, make this a superb aircraft,IMHO.They land and take-off in some lousy weather.Their wings are designed to help remove snow and ice build up.The loud 'thud' against the plane during inclement weather is ice hitting the plane coming off props,as designed.
The dash is a commuter plane.A dependable and safe aircraft,IMO.
