I haven't flown Delta since 2004 and got a thank-you letter as well despite total non-participation in the debate on either side. To me, the infrequent flyer, it seemed a little smug and a lot presumptious to "thank" me for my "support" of a campaign that appeared mostly based on emotion, even though it was justifiable for business reasons and I did support the goals of KDMD for those reasons. I lost a little respect for Delta, again merely the reaction of an infrequent DL flyer. It's impossible for me to lose any more respect for US Airways, which hit zero around 2001.
